Lead Software Developer

Location: Bendigo – Victoria  Mode: Hybrid

We are looking for an experienced software developer to lead technical delivery across our suite of health information management products. This role will guide development efforts, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor a small team of developers while remaining hands-on with code.

You’ll play a key part in shaping the evolution of our products and ensuring the quality, scalability, and maintainability of our software stack.

The role involves:

• Leading the design and development of new features and services
• Reviewing code and providing technical mentorship to four developers
• Working closely with product and operations teams to plan and deliver releases
• Maintaining and improving application performance, security, and reliability
• Participating in architecture discussions and contributing to technical direction
• Supporting CI/CD pipelines, version control, and development standards
• Investigating and resolving complex technical issues
• Assisting in system integration and cloud environment management (Azure)
• Contributing to documentation and internal knowledge sharing

About you
You’re a capable senior developer who takes pride in delivering reliable, well-structured code and enjoys mentoring others. You have strong experience with .NET, C#, SQL Server, and modern web technologies, along with an understanding of cloud-based architectures and secure software design.
