This October, Fixus Technologies will once again participate in One Foot Forward, supporting the Black Dog Institute and its work to improve mental health outcomes across Australia.
One Foot Forward brings people together during Mental Health Month to walk, run or move in solidarity with the one in five Australians who experience mental illness each year. Funds raised support the Black Dog Institute’s research, education, treatment and digital mental health services.
Mental health is closely connected to both our values and the industry in which we work. Through the Fixus platform, we support organisations and services that help people experiencing mental health challenges. Participating in One Foot Forward gives us another way to recognise that work and contribute to a cause that matters deeply to our team, our customers and the communities they serve.
Fixus has participated in One Foot Forward previously, and we are proud to take part again in 2026. Our team members have been invited to participate in whatever way works for them—whether that means setting a personal distance goal, getting out for an occasional walk or simply supporting and encouraging others. Participation is entirely optional; the focus is on coming together and supporting better mental health.
Throughout October, we’ll be getting active, sharing our progress and helping raise awareness and funds for the Black Dog Institute.
You can support the Fixus Technologies team by joining us, following our progress or making a donation through our One Foot Forward team page.
Every step helps demonstrate that people experiencing mental illness are not alone.
